Noises in the dark

Valerin follows the sloping tunnel until she reaches another broken wall. Climbing through, she finds herself in a large chamber, the torches glow partially revealing objects stcked along its sides.

Suddenly from behind comes a snickering sound. like a very small child pleased with it's bad deeds. Valerin whirls about, her morningstar raised to strike, but the tunnel mouth is empty and dark.
